UNI EN 14710-1:2009 la norma che sostituisce la UNI EN 14710-1:2008.
La presente norma è la versione ufficiale in lingua inglese della norma europea EN 14710-1:2005+A2 (edizione dicembre 2008).
La norma si applica a pompe centrifughe senza dispositivi di adescamento per uso antincendio, per temperature ambiente comprese tra - 15 °C e 40 °C, designate come:- pompe galleggianti (FPN-F);- pompe sommergibili (FPN-S); o- pompe di surpressione (FPN-B).Le pompe centrifughe antincendio senza sistema di adescamento sono considerate ultimate con le connessioni in aspirazione e mandata e con l'albero terminale.

This document is a type C standard as stated in EN ISO 12100-1.
Where provisions of this type C standard are different from those which are stated in type A or B standards, the provisions of this type C standard take precedence over the provisions of the other standards, for machines that have been designed and built in accordance with the provisions of this type C standard. While producing this document it was assumed that: a) only trained persons operate the machine;The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and events are covered are indicated in the scope of this document.
b) the original characteristics are maintained provided components are kept in good repair and working order.
